Miami Dolphins RB Ronnie Brown Dismisses Any Contract Concerns

Miami Dolphins RB Ronnie Brown has yet to sign his $3.97 million tender because he’s pushing for a multiyear deal with the team. The team has not yet put an offer on the table to ensure Ronnie a long term deal in Miami, reports Omar Kelly (South Florida Sun-Sentinel).

Although Brown admits he isn’t thrilled about the prospect of playing on a one-year tender deal, he isn’t going to let it get in the way of playing the sport he loves.

“I can’t worry about it too much. I can’t sign myself,” Brown said. “If I start to worry about it, is it going to change it? If I start to talk about it, is it going to change it? Is (my contract situation) going to become a positive or a negative?”

Brown has been someone who has been tied to a ton of trade rumors throughout his career with the Dolphins and always seemed to have a lack of commitment from the organization during his stay. I expect Ronnie’s tenure with the franchise to be possibly over following this upcoming season.
