Baltimore Ravens Sticking With High Price Tag For OT Jared Gaither

Looks as if the Baltimore Ravens are staying pat and not giving in when it comes to shopping young offensive tackle Jared Gaither.

John Clayton (ESPN) is reporting that the asking price for Gaither remains at least a second round selection or higher.

The Ravens remain in the driver seat here however, with the strong demand for offensive tackles around the league and the emergence of last year’s first round pick, Michael Oher.

Oher is slotted in to take Gaither’s spot at left tackle and the Ravens plan to move Gaither to the right tackle spot if he remains on the roster.

Gaither is still a young lineman with a good amount of untapped potential still remaining. If I am a team such as the Buffalo Bills, who are in dire need of an offensive tackle, I am picking up the phone and sending the draft selection over for him yesterday.
